Yikes!! I had my last day of work today and am now busy packing. It's been a bittersweet past week as I have had to say goodbye to some amazing colleagues and co-workers. I have been so blessed throughout the last year to be surrounded by a supportive team, who have not only provided me with much needed clinical help, but also support, encouragement, and many laughs! Honestly, the support has been unreal, especially in this last week! I probably have to take another suitcase with the amount of gifts given to help with my preparation (soap, lotion, bandaids, hat, immodium ;), dictionary, sandals, sunscreen and bugspray...the list goes on!!!) and to take for the kids (playdough, beads, paper, stickers, pencils, fine motor OT games, balls....and yet again....the list goes on!!!) I wouldn't have thought of 3/4 of the things, but I know they will all come in handy and the kids will love them!
Thank you to everyone!!! I am excited for this next year, but am sooooo grateful for this past year, the relationships made and the experiences had.
